US Terms of Use

Effective date: September 9, 2026. Last updated: September 9, 2026.

These terms explain what the DefendVista LLC US pages provide, what they do not provide, and the basis on which enquiries, discovery calls and the Logistics Cybersecurity Review are offered.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

DefendVista LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company providing cybersecurity consultancy to transport and logistics businesses across the United States. Work is delivered remotely. DefendVista LLC does not claim a physical operating office in Atlanta, Georgia.

These terms govern your use of the US pages of this website, your submission of an enquiry through those pages, and any discovery call arranged with DefendVista LLC. By using these pages or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

DefendVista Ltd is a separate United Kingdom company with its own terms covering UK services. Nothing on these US pages creates an obligation of DefendVista Ltd, and nothing in the UK terms creates an obligation of DefendVista LLC.

2. Website content is information, not advice

The content on these pages, including guides, checklists, assessments, calculators, case material and framework summaries, is general information about cybersecurity practice for transport and logistics operators. It is published for education and orientation.

It is not:

  • Legal advice
  • Regulatory or compliance advice
  • Insurance advice
  • Financial or tax advice
  • Tailored cybersecurity advice for your specific systems, contracts or risk profile

References to frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 are descriptive. Any framework alignment we describe reflects our own professional approach, and does not indicate endorsement, accreditation, certification or affiliation by the National Institute of Standards and Technology or by any other body.

Do not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of website content alone. Obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances from a suitably qualified professional.

3. Submitting a form does not create a relationship

Submitting an enquiry form, requesting a discovery call, downloading material or corresponding with us does not create a client relationship, an advisory relationship, a professional duty of care, a confidentiality obligation beyond our privacy policy, or a binding agreement to provide services.

A discovery call is a scoping conversation. It exists so that both parties can decide whether the work is a fit. It is not a security assessment, an audit, an opinion on your compliance position, or advice you can rely on as a deliverable.

Paid work begins only when a separate written agreement, statement of work or signed proposal identifying DefendVista LLC as the provider is in place. That document takes precedence over these terms and over anything published on this website.

4. The $995 Logistics Cybersecurity Review

The Logistics Cybersecurity Review is offered at 995 US dollars. The price shown on these pages is exclusive of any applicable sales or use taxes. Any taxes that apply will be identified before you commit.

What the Review is

  • A structured review of your current cybersecurity posture, mapped against the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 functions
  • A written report identifying findings and prioritized recommendations
  • A walkthrough of the report and the recommended next steps

What the Review is not

  • It is not a penetration test, red-team exercise or technical exploitation exercise
  • It is not an audit or a certification, and it does not produce a certificate
  • It is not a legal, regulatory or insurance compliance opinion
  • It is not a guarantee that you will pass a customer security questionnaire, a vendor review, an insurance application or any third-party assessment
  • It is not incident response, and it is not a monitoring or managed security service
  • It does not remediate findings. Implementation is separate work

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your systems, suppliers and processes
  • Make the relevant people available for the scheduled sessions
  • Authorize the review, or confirm that you have obtained authorization from whoever controls the systems in scope
  • Decide whether and how to act on the recommendations

Findings and recommendations reflect the information made available to us at the time of the review. A review is a point-in-time exercise. It cannot identify every risk, and it does not prevent a security incident from occurring.

The scope of the Review is the scope described on its service page. Payment, scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and refund terms are set out in the applicable written proposal or service agreement, which is provided before any paid work begins. Implementation, penetration testing, certification support and other specialist work are not included unless the proposal or service agreement expressly says so.

Requesting a call, or purchasing the Review, does not guarantee certification, compliance, contract success, questionnaire approval or the prevention of a security incident. Nothing on this marketing website replaces the signed service agreement, which takes precedence.

5. Acceptable use of this website

  • Do not submit false, misleading or impersonated information through our forms
  • Do not use our forms or contact details to send unsolicited marketing
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to this website, its infrastructure or any connected system

9. Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DefendVista LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DefendVista LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost contracts or business interruption, arising out of your use of this website or its content.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud. Liability for paid services is governed by the written agreement for that engagement.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date and last updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of these pages after an update means you accept the revised terms.
