DefendVista LLC is a US-registered cybersecurity consultancy serving transport and logistics businesses across the United States. DefendVista LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company.

This policy applies to the US-facing pages of this website, US enquiries submitted through those pages, discovery calls arranged with DefendVista LLC, and the US cybersecurity services DefendVista LLC provides. It does not apply to services provided by DefendVista Ltd, which is a separate United Kingdom company with its own privacy policy and its own UK-facing pages.

DefendVista LLC does not claim a physical operating office in Atlanta, Georgia. Work is delivered remotely to clients throughout the United States.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information.

If sensitive material needs to be shared, ask us to arrange a secure method first.

Optional analytics and tracking technologies are controlled through the consent interface on this website. Before you accept them, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and the HubSpot visitor tracking script are not downloaded or run, and no analytics event is sent.

Analytics and marketing scripts load only on the production website at defendvista.com, and only after consent. They do not load on preview, staging or local environments, and they do not load on signed-in application routes.

Where analytics is accepted, the resulting data is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: it is not directly identifying on its own, but it can include identifiers such as a cookie identifier and a truncated or processed IP address handled by the provider. We do not describe it as anonymous.

We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, company names, enquiry text, submission identifiers or any other directly identifying information into Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or any advertising platform. Free-text and personal fields on our forms are masked from session recording.

DefendVista LLC does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of the marketing category and keep that category switched off. We do not claim recognition of any other universal opt-out signal, and we do not act on the Do Not Track browser setting.

We do not publish a claim that we never share information, because service providers must receive information in order to operate this website and deliver our services. We disclose information to the following categories of recipients.

This statement reflects a review of the integrations actually present on the US pages. There are no advertising pixels, no advertising audience uploads and no data-broker relationships. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such activity begins.

Information relating to US enquiries may be accessed and processed from the United Kingdom by authorized personnel supporting DefendVista LLC, and may be processed in other countries by our service providers. We do not represent that all information relating to US enquiries stays within the United States.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business and security records, and to meet applicable legal, accounting and contractual obligations.

Information may be kept for longer where it is needed for a dispute, a legal obligation, a security incident or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and defaults of the analytics provider.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include access controls, transport encryption, form abuse protection, rate limiting and security logging.

No website, transmission method or storage method is completely secure, and we do not claim that information is completely secure. Please do not send credentials, security configurations or incident evidence through a public form.

Suspected vulnerabilities can be reported through our responsible disclosure process.

Several US states have enacted consumer privacy laws. Whether any of them gives you rights against DefendVista LLC depends on where you live, whether the law applies to DefendVista LLC based on its size and activity, and whether the information in question is covered. If that position changes, a functional request mechanism will be implemented rather than a link that does nothing.

We do not currently claim to recognize Global Privacy Control or any other universal opt-out signal, because that capability has not been implemented and tested on this website.

We may need to reasonably verify your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose information to the wrong person. Please do not attach identity documents to an ordinary email. If we need identity evidence, we will contact you and arrange a secure method for providing it.

Where required by applicable law, we will accept requests submitted by an authorized agent, and we will ask for evidence of that authority.

DefendVista LLC provides business services intended for adults acting in a professional or business capacity. The US pages of this website are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. We make no representation about compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, because that assessment has not been carried out and is not expected to be relevant to a business-to-business service.

We may update this policy as our services, systems or legal obligations change. The effective date and last updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Where a change is material, we will highlight it on this page, and we will notify affected customers directly where that is appropriate.
